Computronics was established in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 1991.
At Computronics, our personnel has 75 years of combined experience
in the Airborne, Marine Navigation, mapping, Hydrographics, Seismic
survey, vehicle tracking and Management systems , and Differential
G.P.S. Positioning systems. We have software and hardware integration
experience in all of these areas and related marine and Land electronic
fields. We are proud to be able to provide our services in both
French and English. Since 1992, Computronics has served customers
on a national and international basis. We are constantly expanding
our software and hardware lines to help meet our customer's needs,
and we feel that our ability to consistently provide quality, innovative
products, combined with our extensive experience in electronics
fields, make us a world class company.
Software
Experience
Along with generating sophisticated Vehicle Tracking software, marine
Navigation software, and Survey software in-house, Computronics
staff has extensive experience with software such as MS-DOS Quick
Basic, Visual Basic, Turbo "C", DEC VMS, Autosketch, Tango Schematic,
and Procomm.
Marine experience
Our staff is experienced with the installation, operation, and maintenance
of integrated marine electronics equipment such as Gyro compasses,
Radar's, Radios, Echo sounders, Auto pilots, ships integrated communication
systems, ships navigation and P.A. and TV distribution systems,
Loran C, GPS, and other related computer systems. We also have experience
with H.F. and V.H.F. radio systems, navigational plotters, satellite
navigation, Satcom Terminals, Sercel Syledis, Sercel Axyle, and
range positioning systems. We have experience with survey systems
such as Navitronic Sweep Survey systems, Simrad E.M. 100 Swathe
Survey Sounding Systems, Elac Sounding Systems, and ECPINS Electronic
Charting Systems. We have also trained personnel in the use of electronic
navigation positioning systems. We currently have on staff trained
Marine Electronic Technicians with M.E.D. Training.
International
Experience
Computronics is a world class company, and as such, our international
client list means we often travel the globe in order to meet our
customer's integration and installation needs. Our staff has worked
in Mexico, and most recently installed Fleet Tracking systems the
Near East, Europe and Asia.
Product Development
and Innovations
Computronics has developed vehicle tracking and fleet management
software for a variety of customers. Our integrated fleet management
and tracking systems use the Inmarsat, UHF Radio, Cellular Radio
and MSAT satellite telecommunication systems. Computronics specializes
in tailoring systems to our customers specifications and needs.
These systems are currently in use with the Canadian Government
agencies here in Canada and our Atlantic Maritime areas with many
other private customers and agencies.
